Hot Water Cylinders
Unvented hot water heaters are an increasingly popular choice for Home Heating Systems Ltd customers, and they are efficient for people living in apartments or homes with multiple bathrooms. These systems do not require a feed and expansion tank, saving valuable space in smaller living spaces. Additionally, unvented cylinders deliver higher water pressure, providing a more powerful flow of hot water, making them ideal for homes with multiple bathrooms with higher hot water usage.
What is the difference between vented and unvented water cylinders?
The most notable difference from vented systems is that unvented hot water cylinders are sealed as there is no vent pipe to release the build-up of unwanted pressure.
Installation is controlled by part G3 of the Building Regulations and should only be installed by someone with a specific unvented cylinder qualification.
A Transformative Hot Water Solution in West Kirby, Wirral
This unvented hot water cylinder installation took place in a home in West Kirby where the existing system was outdated and inefficient. Our team relocated and fully re-piped the entire setup, ensuring that the new system would provide the best possible performance.
As part of the project, we also addressed damp issues by installing Aqua Board on the walls, offering both protection and long-term durability. The result? A highly efficient unvented system that delivers powerful water pressure, perfect for the family’s needs. This installation not only improved the home’s hot water supply but also maximised space and enhanced energy efficiency.
